I recently had the pleasure of taking a plein air painting class with Manny and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. As someone who’s always been a bit intimidated by painting in general. I was amazed at how quickly that apprehension faded under his guidance. Manny has a true gift for teaching, the instructions were clear, approachable, and broken down in a way that made even complex techniques feel manageable. Whether you were a complete beginner or had some experience under your belt, He met each student at their level and provided the support that was both encouraging and constructive. What stood out most was the atmosphere Manny created: calm, welcoming, and inspiring. There was a genuine sense of community among the group, and I never once felt judge or rushed. It was the kind of environment where creativity could flourish and confidence could grow. By the end of the class, I not only had a painting I was proud of, but I also walked away with new skills, a better understanding of how to use color and most important to relax while painting. I would recommend Manny’s classes without hesitation to anyone looking to improve their technique, connect with nature, or simply enjoy a few hours of creative joy. Creating art can be challenging. It can also be intimidating. Manny is a wonderful teacher and mentor. He encourages, supports, and provides great instruction, enabling each student to achieve their own individual goals. Instruction is provided in a nurturing environment. This is a great course to take and Manny will help you achieve your goals.

I have had the opportunity to learn from Manny on several occasions. He has taught me to trust the process, let go of expectations, and follow where the painting takes me. Through these experiences, I have found an artistic side that I wasn't aware I had.
